INTRODUCTION

MEMOLUB® VISIO / VISIO PRO

MEMOLUB® VISIO and VISIO PRO are single and multi-point electro-mechanical lubrication systems available in four sizes (120cc, 240cc, 480cc and 500cc for the OIL-R500 version).

The VISIO version is battery-operated, while the VISIO PRO version is powered by an external supply ranging from 6 to 36 VDC. Its original two-components design allows to easily remove parts subject to maintenance (cartridge and batteries) while keeping the settings permanently attached to the lubrication point.

With a high lubricant ejection pressure of 25 bar, both systems offer a wide range of applications that are not possible with conventional lubricators. They are equipped with highly visible, all-directional LEDs that provide clear indication of the lubricator status. For easy verification, a test function button is located at the bottom of the unit.

Visual alarms allow users to monitor:

  • Correct pump operation
  • Battery level (VISIO version)
  • Empty cartridge condition

The VISIO PRO version is particularly suitable for applications where machinery is used intermittently or infrequently, as well as for OEM integration. It can also be directly connected to a PLC, allowing alarm signals to be transmitted and monitored through the machine control system.

Both versions can be mounted directly on the lubrication point or remotely installed. They can lubricate up to 8 grease points or up to 12 oil points simultaneously.

WIRED CONTROL

As wired control features are available for the VISIO PRO, there are two different ways to use the device:

1) By defining a periodic expulsion mode on the local rotary encoder wheel (positions 1 to 9), with corresponding preset frequencies listed in the "FREQUENCY" section (see above).

2) By triggering single expulsion using the wired connection (6 DIN M16 connector - wires n1 & n2) - see CABLING section below for implementation.

Note that periodic and single expulsions are NOT exclusive: both may be active simultaneously. If you don't want the periodic expulsions to be active, please set the encoder wheel on position "0". If you don't want the external triggers to be active, please disconnect wires 1 & 2 or disable control from the PLC side.

The Memolub Visio Pro is delivered with a 6 x 0.25mm² cable with a 6DIN M16 female connector.

This connector has the 3 following functions:

1) To supply external power to the VISIO PRO, using the wires 3 & 6

2) To allow remote triggering of expulsions (i.e. from PLC), using the wires 1 & 2

3) To allow remote notification of alarms (i.e. to PLC) using the wires 4 & 5

If the remote controls 2) and 3) are not meant to be used, wires 1, 2, 4 and 5 are just not connected.

A learning period of 20 cycles is required, during which the lubricator must remain in the same environment without any changes to its position, fastening, support, or grease type. If any of these parameters are altered, the learning process can be reset by pressing and holding the pushbutton for more than 5 seconds.

VIDEO'S

FAQ

  • Nothing happens after screwing the module on the base.

    • The pin of the module is possibly not proper aligned with the notch of the base. Unscrew the module from the base, align correctly and screw it again.
    • Memolub VISIO Series is not tightly screwed to the memo. Turn it clockwise until stop.
    • There is possibly no battery inside the module. Insert 3x 1,5 VDC AA batteries to resolve the issue.
    • There is possibly something obstructing the communication between the base and the module contacts. Unscrew the module from the base, remove any dust or obstacles from the base and the module contacts and screw back together tightly.

  • The touchpad does not work after initialisation was completed successfully.

    Your Memolub VISIO Series possibly initialised in an unstable environment. Unscrew the base from the module and screw again to reset the system. Wait until one expulsion is performed and you observe green lights, indicating the initialization is complete.

  • The red lights are blinking periodically.

    • There is possibly a too high back pressure present in the system. Inspect your downstream piping to remove any clogging or jam. Activate the touchpad and check for at least 2 expulsions if the systems operate fine.
    • There is possibly something obstructing the communication between the base and the module contacts. Unscrew the module from the base, remove any dust or obstacles from the base and the module contacts and screw back together tightly.
    • The motor is broken. Replacement of the module is necessary.

  • The yellow lights are blinking periodically.

    • There is possibly something obstructing the communication between the base and the module contacts. Unscrew the module from the base, remove any dust or obstacles from the base and the module contacts and screw back together tightly.
    • The batteries are empty. Replacement of the battery pack is necessary.

  • The blue lights are blinking periodically.

    • The cartridge is possibly out of grease. Replacement of the cartridge is necessary.
    • The system is not primed. Prime the system using a manual grease pump.
    • The system is operating out of its minimum and maximum temperature range. Please make sure the system is operating within the recommended temperature range.
